NYC!  Took a blog break for a few weeks...part 1 spent frolicking about New York City + part 2 spent recovering from the sinus cold that developed the moment we arrived.  Arg. 
Highlights included - the Ace Hotel (and the cute LA based skateboarders that were staying there), Mexican corn Cafe Habana, Brooklyn Flea, McQueen's Savage Beauty exhibit, Chelsea Market/high line, Top Shop, bingo @ the Standard, and an impromptu dance party @ la esquina. boom.

How delightful are these perfectly packaged mason jar lunches?  Makes that brown paper bag seem kinda dowdy, no?  Looks like a sunny picnic lunch is in my near future...
