Travel bit.

Jericoacoara, Brazil
Having spent the better part of August travelling throughout Brazil...6 states and 8 cities, much of which was on the go, we were thrilled to slow it down a bit and spend a few days enjoying some R&R. Somewhere among the dune buggies, kite surfers, sunsets, caiparinhas and endless sand dunes lies Jeri.  Jericoacoara (Jeri for short) is a quaint fishing village on the northeastern coast of Brazil, 300kms West of Fortaleza.  Drawing people to this unknown and unusual location are the town's lengthy beaches, surrounded by sand dunes and freshwater lagoons.  Though the small fishing village has been growing, building limitations are protecting the influx of massive buildings/hotels and allowing it to grow in a positive way.  If you want to kick back, relax and take in the breathtaking views atop "Sunset Dune" - Jeri is a must!

  1. It is fatal to know too much at the outset. Boredom comes as quickly to the traveler who knows his route as to the novelist who is over certain of his plot. Flights to Bogota
