These beautiful bags are hand-woven in the Guajira Peninsula in South America, by ladies of the Wayuu (an Amerindian ethic group) community. The Wayuu Taya Foundation was formed to help improve the lives of Latin-American indigenous communities while respecting and maintaing tradition, culture and beliefs Each bag is entirely one of a kind and has a numbered wooden rind guaranteeing the authenticity of the bag.
